I'm happy that I was asked to introduce myself to the guild on the forums since the application was pretty limited in regards to information requested and response room given.

I am a 32 year old male, and a full time college student, currently residing in Cocoa Beach Florida. I spent 4.5 years in the U.S. Army Infantry and another 3 years working as a civilian for the Army. I am on my way to earning a degree in Radiological Technologies (which is fancy talk for MRI Technician) and I am currently holding down a 4.0 gpa.

As I mentioned, I live in Cocoa Beach, Florida. We do have severe storms occasionally, though usually only during hurricane season. I may have to miss a raid or two at this time due to my house blowing away. I should have no problem maintaining a 90-95% attendance, with my 5-10% absences occurring during hurricane season when I have no power or have to chase my garbage cans, mailbox, car, or roof down the street.

My computer is pretty good. It started as a Dell XPS, or a Dell POS as I call it. It came with Pentium Q6600 quad processors. I have upgraded to a Radeon 4850 video card and 4 gigs of Mushkin ram. During raids I run about 25-35 FPS during AoE trash pulls and 50-60 FPS the rest of the time. The mother board is the next to be replaced, and then a second video card and I'll be golden. I have High Speed Cable Internet. It is very stable and I hardly ever disconnect.

I use Xperl, DBM, oRA, Dominos (new Bongos), ArcHud2, and a few others for aesthetics.

When I am not in class or studying I am playing WoW. I've been playing for over three years. I enjoy the game a great deal and I can not imagine spending my free time any other way. I do value my time though, it is very important to me; even the time I spend playing. I want to raid with mature, dedicated people who play to be competitive and to progress without having to be hand held or told they are standing in bad stuff.

Your raid times are perfect for my schedule. I have all morning classes which leave my afternoons and evenings free for study or play.

Better then most people who just say "hey, i suck dicks, /ginvite please" this guys like "hey, i suck dicks with a 4.0 gpa, /ginvite please"

If his app is comparable to his post, I'd say give him a shot. He didn't say he was holy, but after a quick armory and the amount of mana he has, he is. We all know how much we need a holy pally.

Also, missing raids during hurricane season is unreasonable. If you'd like to raid with Lunacy, move to the west coast, but not too far, earthquakes.

The only people who stand in bad stuff anymore are Zairoc, Visenya, and Xaeq, and they're on their way out the door.

on a serious note, checked the armory im assuming your an xfer from khaz modan?
just curious as why your specced 51/20/0...normally you go into the ret tree to get conviction for the extra crit, unless of course you were doing sarth +drakes...

Yes, I am currently 51/20/0 for 3D attempts.  My previous spec was 51/5/15 for extra crit from conviction. I am comfortable with either spec though.

We also need a shaman healer. Because all our shamans arnt healers. Belx, just because you're resto, doesnt mean you're a healer.
