MechWarrior franchise gets a facelift!

MechWarrior was one of the game that got me into online shooters in general, so I'm extremely excited for this.

To sum up the story of why it's taken so long for a new MechWarrior/Battletech/MechAssault game: Microsoft was letting all the old FASA franchises rot into nothingness since they disbanded the studio.  The founder of FASA didn't want to let the old FASA properties die off forever, so he has acquired licensing for Shadowrun, Crimson Skies and the Battletech/MechWarrior universe games and is developing sequels in his new development studio.

The debut trailer with gameplay is in both articles, but the video doesn't like being linked on our forums for some reason..
